Position: Pre-K Teacher Assistant

Location: Traveling

Salary: $14.96/hour

Term of Employment: 9 month position

Position Summary: To assist the Pre-K Teachers with Pre-K Students ages 3 and/or 4

years old with student instruction and classroom procedures.

Reporting Relationship: Building Administrator

Qualifications:

Must meet Para Professional qualifications

Familiar with Early Childhood Environmental Rating Scale – ECERS

Demonstrated history of successful evaluations
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Work collaboratively with Pre-K teachers, coaches, and administrators

Assist the Pre-K Teachers with student instruction and
classroom/breakfast/lunch/arrival/dismissal procedures

Maintain compliance for ECERS monitoring

Eat lunch with the students

Work hours are 7:45 AM to 2:45 PM*

Assist with student bathroom procedures and any accidents

Attend Early Childhood training during the school year and in the

summer

Attend professional development sessions to meet grant requirements
*Due to student/teacher ratio there will be no breaks
